Frost is a lecturer, consultant, and practitioner with over two decades of experience creating truly beautiful smiles using emerging technologies and progressive techniques. He is widely known as the “artist orthodontist,” a reputation he has gained by creating wide, aesthetically pleasing smiles for each of his patients, no matter how challenging the case.
Dentistry is a tradition in the Frost family, and Dr. Frost’s passion for dentistry and orthodontics started at a young age while watching his father work. As a teenager, he experienced braces himself and fell in love with the idea of creating beautiful smiles for others as his father had done for him. After years of schooling, fellowship, and real-world experience; Dr. Frost is now one of the industry’s leading experts in innovative and artistic orthodontics.
Dr. Frost is highly involved in the industry, giving him a front-row seat to innovation, technology, and change in the global orthodontics community. He’s passionate about furthering his field and travels all over the world to share what he’s learned with other orthodontists. He acts as a global facilitator observing other practitioners and their techniques, incorporating and improving those techniques within his own practice, and then sharing the outcomes to produce the best results for patients worldwide.
The Beginning of a Lifelong Passion for Orthodontics.
Dr. Frost graduated with honors from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in 1992, before practicing general dentistry with his father for five years. His passion for orthodontics was apparent from the very start of his education, and after a one-year fellowship in Temporomandibular Joint Dysfunctions (TMJ) at the world-renowned Eastman Dental Center, he went on to complete a two-year residency in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics at the University of Rochester.
Dr. Frost has been a presenter and lecturer on the Damon System and the future of orthodontics for almost two decades.
He is a member of multiple well-known orthodontic study clubs throughout the country, including, the Schulman Group and the Damon Study Club
Dr. Frost has is an Associate Professor at the Redmond Family Orthodontic Clinic at the University of Pacific School of Orthodontics and has been for the past thirteen years.
Dr. Frost acts as a consultant advisor to medical device companies, such as i-CAT, Ormco, Propel Orthodontics, and Spectrum Lasers. In this role, he is directly involved in clinical testing, working with engineers and product managers to enhance new technologies and products in development
He and his team at Frost Orthodontics have been awarded Phoenix Magazine’s “Top Orthodontist” twelve times between 2004-2016.
